Met at 18 at UIC and eventually lived together. Went through all the ups and downs in life while we studied hard and partied harder :)  

Eric is my brother from another mother. We've been friends for 25 years and we literally finish each others sandwiches. No one can come between us....not even Judy! 

An unni and dongsaeng who have been each other’s encouragement and inspiration since the very beginning and supported each other through thick and thin for the last 10+ years. An unni and dongsaeng who saw each other mature and grow into the women we are today while having so much fun over hours over food, conversations, games, and gatherings. Judy is someone who never stopped believing in me and I would not be the person I am today without Judy. 🥲 

You two effortlessly feed off of each other for endless laughs, energy, and memories. That also seems to only get stronger with each time I get to spend time together with you two, with some of my favorite memories early on being you guys introducing me to countless new food spots!

Oh man.. describing our relationship would be tough since we’ve been through so much since high school 😅

Eric renewed my wife and my wedding vows.  He's one of our closest friends and we hang out all the time. 

I met Judy through Eric, and quickly considered her one of my best friends. 

Judy you’ve been such a steady and sweet friend! We were close in college and thank you for letting us name Astro #2 after your Astro. I feel like that kept us close after college.  Our friendship has grown because we both have similar personalities and want to always be there for each other no matter what! Our friendship is really stable and I know that we can support each other in the hard times. Thank you for referring so many people to me, I can’t wait to support you on your wedding day!

Eric and Judy are a joy to be around - they've got jokes! And they are the best cat parents ever.  I know Eric through Selam and all you can eat sushi.  I got to know Judy through our friends' group get togethers and birthday celebrations

We met at UIC! Specifically at the Student Centers East Dining Hall. Since then, you’ve always been my little sister from another mother!! 

The relationship is a special one because of all the nicknames.  It's a real relationship if there are many nicknames.  They are a fun way to yell, compliment, and comfort your partner.  Goober for example.  That one I'm sure can be used in many situations.

I met Judy through my boyfriend, but our friendship quickly became its own thing—built on late-night moon-shines, chaotic board-game wins, and our iconic Kitty Kitty Beast escape-room crew energy. From rolling dice together in our D&D group to solving puzzles like lovable maniacs, I’ve grown to love a friendship that’s nerdy, hilarious, and genuinely meaningful.
